After Gaspar passed away, his son, Jimmy, took over the business and made it into the Tampa Bay stable we know and love today. Jimmy’s philanthropic efforts, in collaboration with organizations like the Tampa Bay Whiskey Society and many local charities, have had measurably impactful effects on causes ranging from Tampa Bay’s children to animal clinics and more. Gaspar’s carries one of the best selections of whiskies in Tampa, as well as rum, tequila, fine wines, and a massive beer selection. Gaspar’s offers a “taste before you buy” opportunity on hundreds of spirits, allowing customers to make the most informed choice before purchasing. Along with its in-house barrel picking team, and often also the Tampa Bay Whiskey Society, Gaspar’s regularly selects exceptional barrels of whiskey for sale to the public. Gaspar’s routinely carries dozens of these single barrel picks from nearly as many different distillers, with nearly all being available to try before buying. 1st Ave. Liquors and Clubhouse
We are a liquor store in St. Pete with a focus on Bourbon. We opened 5 years ago and this past year we moved into a larger space that allowed us to add on a bourbon bar, only American Bourbon and Whiskeys at the bar, which is in the back of the storefront. We are unique in the fact we have a raffle system in place for allocated bottles at normal MSRP and we carry this pricing into the bar.
